I'm the best choice for register job

My name is Susan Castor and I am a candidate seeking your vote for the position of Cheshire County Register of Probate on Nov. 4.

I have worked at the Cheshire County Probate Court as a court assistant for the past 10 years, serving as a deputy register since 2005.

Continuing my education, I received my paralegal certification from Keene State College in 2005. Prior to joining the Court, I was a small business owner.

Over the past several weeks I have spoken with many voters throughout Cheshire County and my message has been that the register of probate is a specialized position, not a political one.

This position is equivalent to a clerk of court. It requires a person who is qualified; one who is professional, conscientious and detail oriented.

The register of probate, along with the staff, must not only process the numerous cases that come into the court daily, but also is charged with the important preservation of files for future reference.

I take my service to the citizens of Cheshire County very seriously and I recognize the importance of a qualified candidate. I believe I am the best candidate for this job.

My name is Susan Castor and I am a Republican candidate seeking your vote for the position of Register of Probate for Cheshire County in the upcoming primary on Tuesday, September 9th. The position of Register is very important to the citizens of Cheshire County as it involves records for guardianships, adoptions, estate settlements, etc. The citizens throughout depend on accurate and timely presentation of records and I know I am the best candidate to ensure these services.

I have worked as a Court Assistant at the Cheshire County Probate Court for the past ten years, and served as a Deputy Register since 2005. Before joining the Probate Court, I was a small business owner providing me with the skills necessary to manage the office and serve the public in a conscientious manner. Continuing my education at Keene State College, I have earned a paralegal certification. With the legal knowledge, I have gained an understanding that has enhanced my work experience providing a professional level of understanding regarding all aspects of the job.

Throughout my service at the Probate Court, my work/attendance record has shown that I am a reliable, diligent employee who welcomes new tasks with enthusiasm. I take my responsibilities seriously and realize how much the citizens of Cheshire County rely on accurate information provided by this office.

I believe I am the best candidate for this position and ask for your vote on Tuesday, September 9, 2008.

Both legal training and experience in the Court system are essential qualities the Register of Probate must possess.

Sweeping changes, or any claims of such, are minimal at best. The New Hampshire Probate Courts are under the supervision of the Administrative Office of the Courts in Concord; from office procedure to supplies, forms and equipment we use daily.

My message is, once again, with my legal training, business experience and work record, I am the most qualified candidate for Register of Probate and the best choice for your hard-earned tax dollars.
